What will I learn?
This course aims to build on prior basic knowledge to encourage, inspire and empower the user to want to use their camera more creatively and with a better understanding. Therefore helping you to increase your image success rate.
During the course learners will:
● Explore what makes the foundations of a good photograph
● Using a hands-on approach, you will work with the practical application of apertures, shutter speeds and depth of field
● Apply a range of composition rules to the photographs that you take, to improve your photographic success rate.
Is this course for me?
It is for the improver digital compact or SLR camera owner who wants to build up their photographic confidence and knowledge in order to use the manual function more often and to explore other creative feature and settings to enable better results.
What do I need to bring?
Your camera, camera instructions, a fully charged battery, spare battery if you have one plus its re charger. plus the camera handbook (if available).
Your camera needs to have Aperture Priority setting and Shutter Priority Setting functions to get the most out of your sessions).
* Wet weather clothing, as we may be outside shooting whatever the weather, great shots are all weather opportunities.
How will I know that my skills have improved?
At the start, you will decide (with help from your tutor) what you want to get out of the course. You will have the opportunity to review your progress and at the end of the course you will have the chance to reflect on what you have learnt and how your skills have improved.
